Gnome scavenger hunt starts november 28th!
Meet the newest member of our community – Ole the Osseo Gnome!
Inspired by our town’s rich Scandinavian heritage, this charming little mascot will represent the spirit of Osseo and our local businesses. Ole will be popping up around town in different places throughout the year, helping us celebrate events, promote local businesses, and bring some festive fun to our town!

In Osseo, we don’t just celebrate our small businesses one Saturday, we celebrate them all year long! Let’s spread the holiday cheer with a Small Business Scavenger Hunt this holiday season!
From November 28th to December 21st, keep an eye out for our Chamber Gnome hiding in participating local businesses and on our website. Here’s how it works:
In-Person Scavenger Hunt:
- Visit participating businesses in the Osseo area (list coming soon)
- Search for the Chamber Gnome, who will be hiding with a special QR code.
- When you find the gnome, scan the QR code with your phone camera and it will open the entry form.
- Each time you find a gnome at a new location, you can enter again! That’s a lot of chances to win!
- Every entry gives you a chance to win a Chamber Basket filled with local goodies and gift certificates.
Online Scavenger Hunt:
- Our gnome will also be hiding somewhere on the Osseo Chamber website throughout the season too.
- The gnome’s online hiding spot will move periodically, so keep checking back and watch our Facebook page for clues!
- When you spot the gnome on the website, click on it to access the entry form for the online drawing.
- One lucky winner from the online scavenger hunt will also be drawn on December 22nd.
