Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 26, 2026! Osseo Nordic Fall Fest is taking over Downtown Osseo from 10 AM–4 PM for a full day of live entertainment, food, kids’ activities, local businesses, Norwegian traditions and community fun.
There is already a LOT planned for the day—and we’re not done yet!
Our goal for Nordic Fall Fest is more than putting on an event. We want to bring people downtown, showcase the businesses and organizations that make Osseo special, and give families plenty of reasons to explore throughout the entire event.
Live Entertainment All Day
We have a great entertainment lineup planned throughout Downtown Osseo:
10:30 AM–12:30 PM — Norwegian Bachelor Farmers
Kyle and Dave bring more than two decades of experience entertaining audiences with their upbeat combination of Scandinavian music, storytelling and humor. Find them at the Main Tent by the Community Center.
1–2 PM — Stoughton Norwegian Dancers
The Stoughton Norwegian Dancers will perform right on Main Street! Made up of Stoughton High School sophomores, juniors and seniors, the group shares Scandinavian folk culture through lively traditional dancing and authentic Norwegian bunads.
2–4 PM — Caleb Horne
Caleb takes over the Main Tent for an afternoon of live music featuring crowd favorites along with some special Norsk songs planned just for Fall Fest!
2:30–3:30 PM — Tom Pease Children’s Show
Head over to the Garber Bandshell for an interactive children’s performance from Tom Pease. Expect plenty of music, movement, laughter and audience participation!
And from 10 AM–1 PM, Paint Me First will be offering professional face painting for the kids.
Food, Nordic Traditions & More
Come hungry, because there will be plenty to eat throughout the day!
The Osseo Lions Club will serve Walking Tacos from 11 AM–2 PM, while The Osseo Nickel will have its Caramel Apple Bar from 10 AM–4 PM.
You’ll also find the Norwegian Bake Sale from 10 AM–4 PM, and starting at 2 PM, Dove Healthcare will host its Lefse Supper at the Osseo Community Center, with proceeds supporting its Resident Council.
And, of course, our downtown restaurants and businesses will be open throughout the festivities!
Plenty for Kids to Do
We want families to be able to spend the whole day exploring Fall Fest.
Wisconsin Fun Factory will be bringing the bounce houses, and kids can look forward to games and activities throughout downtown.
The Osseo-Fairchild FFA is bringing back one of the day’s most unusual attractions: Cow Plop BINGO! Pick your square, cheer on the cow and see where the winning “plop” lands.
There will also be pumpkin bowling, pumpkin painting, business sponsored Kid games and activities, giveaways, prizes and more being added as businesses and organizations finalize their plans.
Take a Look Back at Osseo
While you’re making your way through Fall Fest, be sure to stop inside Osseo City Hall from 10 AM–4 PM to visit the Osseo Historical Society.
They’ll be sharing stories, showing off pieces of Osseo history and visiting with anyone who has photos, documents, stories or other pieces of local history they’d like to share.
And We’re Still Looking for More!
One of the things we want most for this year’s Fall Fest is community involvement.
We’re inviting Osseo businesses, organizations, clubs and community groups to be part of the festivities—and you don’t have to be located downtown to participate!
Businesses & Organizations Outside Downtown
Come downtown and set up a booth! Your booth could include a kids’ game, hands-on activity, giveaway, demonstration or another creative way to introduce families to your business or organization.
It doesn’t need to be elaborate. A simple, fun activity gives families another place to stop while giving you an opportunity to meet people and showcase what you do.
Already Located Downtown?
You do not need to set up a separate booth. Instead, take advantage of all the people who will already be coming your way! You could:
- Have an activity or game outside your storefront
- Host something inside your business
- Offer a Fall Fest sale or special
- Have a giveaway or drawing
- Create a special food or drink
- Offer a kids’ activity
- Decorate for Fall Fest
- Or come up with something completely different!
Just keep us in the loop about what you’re planning. We want to include participating businesses, specials and activities in our Fall Fest advertising and help send visitors your way.
Have an Idea? We Want to Hear It!
You don’t have to choose from a predetermined list of activities. In fact, we’d love to see businesses get creative and come up with something that fits what they do. And if you’d like to participate but aren’t sure what to do, reach out! We have plenty of kids’ game and booth activity ideas and would be happy to help you find something simple that works for your business or organization.
If staffing is what is holding you back, talk to us about that too. Through Osseo Community Hands in Action, we may be able to connect some activities with community volunteers.

We need volunteers too!
There will be plenty happening throughout downtown, which means we’ll need community members willing to lend a hand. Whether you can help for a portion of the day or want to get more involved with community events throughout the year, we’d love to have you.

Whether you perform, volunteer, host a game, run a business special, set up a booth, sponsor an activity, donate prizes, or simply come downtown and enjoy the day, there is a way to be involved.
