How to Navigate Osseo During Construction

The construction on Hwy 10 in Osseo is set to begin on Monday, April 14th, with the first phase starting on the west side of town and working eastward. Work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7 pm, with a goal of completion by the end of September, weather permitting. Here’s what you need to know to navigate Osseo during this construction period:

  • Main & East – Crossroads will remain open: These roads will stay open for north/south traffic. However, when pipe work begins, one lane will remain open.

  • Nelson to Rose Lane Pipe Work: This section will be undergoing work starting soon, but access will remain available for businesses and residents.

  • Bridge Work on the Buffalo River Bridge: During bridge repairs, this bridge will be impassable. However, I-94 will remain open during this phase of construction.

  • Phase 2 – I-94 Bridge Work: Starting early August, expect flagging operations and one lane closed at a time. This phase will last for about three weeks but will not prevent access to businesses.

We encourage all community members and visitors to remain patient and follow detour signs to ensure access to our local businesses. Stay tuned for additional updates and information on detours, signage, and alternate routes.
